What is Thread Lift Treatment?
Threads made of PDO (polydioxanone), PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) or PCL (polycaprolactone) are placed just under the skin with a fine needle or cannula. Cog threads have tiny barbs that hold and lift the tissue. Smooth mono threads are laid in a mesh to improve firmness and texture. As the threads slowly dissolve, the body forms new collagen around them, which helps the result last after the threads are gone.
